Smt. Samreen Nadaf, aged 28 and belong to Kavadimatti village, is among the beneficiaries of the Solid Waste Management Training program. Driven by her desire to support her family independently, Samreen actively participated in the training sessions. Subsequently, she became a vital source of income for her household. Inspired to take action, Samreen, along with her team members, initiated door-to-door garbage collection efforts in her Gram Panchayat villages. Equipped with training on Solid Waste Management, including waste segregation, collection techniques, and transportation methods, Samreen also received driving lessons. Following the completion of her training, she embarked on garbage collection duties alongside her team members. Her commendable efforts have earned her appreciation from government officials and fellow villagers alike.
