Between March 15, 2023, and March 20, 2023, a five-day training program focused on Solid Waste Management took place at the District Resource Training Center in Vijayapur. The training sessions were led by Mr. Santosh, the Program Manager of IRD. Each village nominated three women, totaling 30 women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs), who were recognized and participated in the training sessions. The training covered techniques for waste collection, segregation, and proper handling of both dry and wet waste.
