In partnership with the Department of Information and Public Relations, IRD organized a street play in Vijayapur district of Karnataka. The purpose of this street play was to raise public awareness about the 5 guarantee government schemes: Gruhajyothi, Gruhalakshmi, Anna Bhagya Scheme, Uchita Prayana Guarantee Scheme, and The Yuva Nidhi Guarantee Scheme. Mr. T Bhoobalan, the DC of Vijayapur, and other officials from the department attended the event and inaugurated the street play.
