IRD - Institute for Rural Development, Vijayapur, in collaboration with Bloomreach CSR Activity and Manterlee Social Innovations Federation, is implementing the "Mr. Farmer" project in Kengeri Hobli, Bengaluru. The project aims to empower farmers of Kengeri Hobli as rural entrepreneurs by enhancing their skills, providing infrastructure, knowledge, and training. It offers climate-smart kits including Agroforestry, Bee-Keeping, Vermi-Composting, and Active Bio-Charcoal production. The key objectives of the project are as follows: a. Raise awareness on climate-smart agriculture. b. Promote climate-smart agriculture by enhancing available infrastructure for farmers. c. Contribute to environmental conservation through tree plantation in Agroforestry and their maintenance.
