IRD - Institute for Rural Development has partnered with National Fertilizers Limited (NFL, Noida) to establish community fitness centers in Bidar district of Karnataka. This collaborative effort is a comprehensive initiative aimed at raising awareness and instilling a sense of pride among the youth of the nation. The project involves setting up 21 Community Fitness Centers across the district, which will serve as focal points for promoting physical fitness, health education, and overall well-being within local communities. Through this initiative, IRD and NFL aim to empower individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles and contribute to the region's overall development. The program's objectives include promoting physical fitness, enhancing public health, encouraging active lifestyles, fostering social interaction, providing education and resources, enhancing quality of life, and supporting sustainable development.
